Nursery School
Our lovely village nursery school is homely and welcoming. We provide our 'happy bunnies' with the best start by helping them to develop important life skills in preparation for school. We have qualified teaching staff (B.Ed) and specialist teachers to teach French,ballet and sports lessons. Every week the children visit Shepreth Wildlife Park, go to the woods, visit Barrington School and join in cooking . The children play outside every day, both morning and afternoon, using fabulous outdoor facilities.
Our Curriculum
Our curriculum is topic based. We provide activities that promote a healthy life style, including cooking every week for all of our children,outdoor play every day, lots of physical activities such as dancing and our 'physical fun' afternoon, and regular visits to the woods and the Wildlife Park. We value good manners and considerate, respectful behaviour.
Settling in
For emotional well-being children need to feel safe and secure. When settling in at nursery we always ask parents to stay with their child to provide the security that they need to enable them to explore their new environment, and to begin to develop trusting relationships with their key person and the other nursery staff.
